Formulation / Strength: Each 5 mL contains:

Ofloxacin 50 mg

Simethicone 10 mg (an anti-flatulent)
Mechanism of Action:

Ofloxacin: a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing replication.

Metronidazole: active against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging DNA.

Simethicone: helps reduce gas bloating by coalescing gas bubbles, improving comfort.
Indications / Uses:

Diarrhea / loose, watery stools caused by mixed bacterial + protozoal infections

Dysentery / gastrointestinal infections where multiple pathogens are suspected
Dosage & Administration:

Shake the bottle well before use.

Use measuring device (cup / syringe) to give accurate dose.

Take orally, with or without food (but better at fixed times)
-
Follow the duration prescribed by the physician; do not stop early even if symptoms improve.
Side Effects:
Some reported or possible side effects include:

Nausea, vomiting

Abdominal pain, diarrhea

Headache, dizziness

Metallic taste, loss of appetite

Urine discoloration (sometimes with metronidazole)
Precautions / Warnings:

Do not use if allergic to ofloxacin, metronidazole, or related antibiotics.

Use cautiously in patients with liver or kidney impairment; dose adjustments may be needed.

Avoid alcohol during and for some time after therapy (metronidazole can interact with alcohol causing flushing, nausea)

Monitor for signs of severe side effects (e.g., neurologic symptoms, allergic reactions).

In children and elderly, apply extra caution.
