Glycogate F Inhaler – Glycopyrrolate & Formoterol Fumarate Pressurised Inhalation – 120 Metered Doses

Original price was: ₹724.00.Current price is: ₹359.97.

Glycogate F Inhaler by Healthgate features a powerful dual-action bronchodilator combining Glycopyrrolate and Formoterol Fumarate. Specifically engineered for daily maintenance care, it pairs a long-acting anticholinergic with a long-acting beta2-agonist to systematically open narrow airways—significantly improving long-term lung function, preventing shortness of breath, and helping you breathe with ease around the clock.

Glycogate F Inhaler provides an established, clinically unified combination respiratory therapy carefully developed for the continuous management, long-term stabilization, and airflow optimization of patients navigating chronic obstructive airway diseases. In progressive pulmonary disorders, chronic inflammation and hyper-reactive neural signaling force the smooth muscle matrices surrounding the bronchial branches into persistent, defensive constriction. This tightening blocks standard expiratory air velocities, traps stale oxygen inside alveolar pockets, and causes debilitating breathing fatigue. This advanced formulation delivers a synchronized dual-action bronchodilator framework within a calibrated 120-activation pressurised canister layout to maintain structurally expanded, free-breathing pathways safely over an ongoing care routine.

The two active components function dynamically directly within the respiratory tracts via distinct molecular pathways:

  • Long-Acting Muscarinic Antagonism / LAMA (Glycopyrrolate): Functions as a potent anticholinergic agent that binds competitively to $M_3$ muscarinic acetylcholine receptors localized on bronchial smooth muscle walls. By blocking parasympathetic cholinergic signaling, it prevents acetylcholine-induced bronchoconstriction, securing a steady baseline of muscle relaxation.

  • Long-Acting Beta-Adrenergic Agonism / LABA (Formoterol Fumarate): Operates as a highly selective $\beta_2$-adrenergic receptor agonist. It stimulates intracellular adenyl cyclase enzymes, driving a rapid conversion of adenosine triphosphate ($ATP$) to cyclic adenosine monophosphate ($cAMP$). Elevated $cAMP$ levels activate protein kinase A, triggering immediate, deep relaxation across airways. Together, this LAMA/LABA pairing locks out tightening signals while driving opening cascades around the clock.

Key Benefits

  • Synergistic Dual-Action Bronchodilation: Combines an anticholinergic and a beta2-agonist to deliver superior, balanced lung expansion compared to individual monotherapies.

  • Rapid Onset & Extended Protection: Formoterol provides rapid airway relaxation within minutes, while both molecules maintain consistent bronchial openness for a full 12-hour window.

  • Reduces COPD Flare-Up Incidences: Daily maintenance stabilization prevents sudden respiratory drops, lowering dependency on short-term emergency rescue sprays.

  • Calibrated 120-Dose Tracker Design: Delivers exactly 120 pressurised metered puffs, ensuring long-term therapy coverage and highly predictable daily scheduling.

  • Trusted Quality Engineering: Manufactured under precise pharmaceutical controls of Healthgate, securing uniform micro-aerosol particle sizes for optimal deep-lung deposition.

Directions for Use

  • Use exactly as directed by your pulmonologist or respiratory care specialist.

  • Glycogate F is strictly intended for maintenance therapy, typically administered as 2 puffs in the morning and 2 puffs in the evening on an identical daily schedule.

  • CRITICAL USE INSTRUCTION (MDI Technique): Remove the mouthpiece cap and shake the inhaler vigorously for 5 seconds. Breathe out completely through your mouth to empty your lungs. Place the mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips tightly around it. Start breathing in slowly and deeply through your mouth, then press down firmly on the top of the canister once to release a metered dose while continuing to inhale steadily.

  • Remove the inhaler from your mouth, hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds (or as long as comfortable) to allow the medicine to deposit deep in the airways, then breathe out slowly. If a second puff is prescribed, wait at least 1 minute, shake the inhaler again, and repeat the protocol.

  • Clean the plastic actuator frame once a week by removing the canister, rinsing the plastic body under warm running water, and letting it air-dry completely.

Safety & Precautions

  • CRITICAL ACUTE RESCUE RESTRICTION: Glycogate F Inhaler is a long-acting maintenance medicine and must strictly NOT be used to treat a sudden, acute attack of breathlessness or asthma bronchospasm. Always carry a fast-acting rescue inhaler (such as salbutamol/albuterol) to manage sudden emergency breathing crises.

  • Do not discontinue usage suddenly or skip daily doses arbitrarily even if you feel completely fine, as continuous compliance is required to keep the airway smooth muscles from relapsing into tight constriction.

  • Paradoxical Bronchospasm Warning: Like other inhaled medications, if your breathing suddenly worsens or if you experience severe wheezing immediately after an inhalation puff, discontinue use instantly, use your rescue spray, and contact your pulmonologist or seek emergency triage immediately.

  • Inform your specialist before initialization if you track a prior clinical record of narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention or prostate enlargement (anticholinergics can alter bladder mechanics), cardiovascular conditions like arrhythmias, coronary insufficiency, severe hypertension, or thyrotoxicosis.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Do not freeze or puncture the canister.

  • Keep the inhaler entirely protected from direct sunlight exposure, freezing temperatures, and intense automotive heat channels. The canister contains a pressurised liquid gas and can burst if overheated.

  • Always replace the plastic mouthpiece cap firmly immediately after use to prevent dust, pocket lint, or ambient room contaminants from entering the spray valve block.
